Juventus, Borussia Dortmund Champions League UCL Crazy Match Football, Soccer, High scoring Draw Match Report |
The huge match between Juventus and Borussia Dortmund to open the Champions League ended in a historic draw with four goals each at Allianz Stadium.
The game was a festival of goals that all exploded in a legendary second half dominated by football madness.
Karim Adeyemi opened the scoring for Dortmund with a low creeping shot then Kenan Yildiz equalized for Juve with a brilliant rocket.
Juventus's joy did not last long as Felix Nmecha restored Dortmund's lead less than a minute later.
But the substitute Dusan Vlahovic quickly leveled the score again for the Old Lady.
The German team went ahead once more this time through Yan Couto who capitalized on a defensive mistake.
Everyone thought the match was decided when Ramy Bensebaini scored Dortmund's fourth goal from a penalty kick.
But Juventus refused to surrender so Vlahovic reduced the deficit with his second personal goal in stoppage time.
And in the very last moment of the game defender Lloyd Kelly snatched the equalizing goal with a deadly header that set the stadium on fire.
The first half saw few chances highlighted by goalkeeper Kobel's saves against Juventus attempts but the second half compensated for everything and gave viewers one of the most exciting matches of the tournament.
